Literacy Power Hour Webinars

Any of Lori’s topics (See professional development) may be offered in a focused “power hour” virtual interactive webinar format. During the hour Lori will share videos, lessons, hands-on activities, and ideas to use immediately. She will tailor a webinar, or a series of webinars, to fit the needs of your school.

Virtual Book Club

Schedule Lori to lead your staff in a virtual book club for 5 interactive sessions - one for each chapter in her best-selling book, Reciprocal Teaching at Work (ASCD, 2018). In each hands-on session we will participate in viewing classroom footage, sample lessons, and discussions about your students. Schedule five one-hour sessions to fit your calendar and needs! In the foreword, John Hattie says, “It can be claimed that knowing the four core strategies (reciprocal teaching)-when to use them and how to develop them- is essential to be an excellent teacher. This is the book to learn these skills. Enjoy!” Any of Lori’s books may be delivered as a virtual club.

Virtual Demonstration Lessons

Lori offers a variety of demonstration lessons (reciprocal teaching or writing lessons) virtually in your classrooms. She models with teachers observing or collaborates and co-teaches. Demonstration lessons include debriefing.
